Maroon Fronted Parrots

This is the single largest nesting site for Maroon fronted parrots (Rhyncopsitta terrisi) in the world. These birds are endangered. with only about 2500 or so birds left. They nest in remote regions high up in the mountains of Mexico. I went there for a conservation project, but ended up getting altitude sickness and having to come home. Watch it right through to the end!!
